Xbox and PC platformer 'Super Lucky's Tale' gets unexpected tropical expansion

No one expected to see Lucky again so soon, but we're glad he's back.
A week ago, Super Lucky's Tale developer Playful said that it planned on releasing an expansion or sequel. Unfortunately, the studio didn't make any statements other than a cryptic post on the game's Twitter account. The game is an adorable platformer which launched on Xbox One and PC a few months ago. The title received mixed reviews from critics, so it was unclear if the game would ever receive a sequel or expansion in the future.

Gen 1, OOPS!

I ordered a Surface book through Amazon thinking it was a great deal... I got the 512/16GB/Nvidia GPU... But just realised that it's the version without the sunken keyboard, which I believe makes it a first generation model...

Is it going to be able to keep up with me? My last computer was the second gen surface book & I work in Photoshop, Premier and AutoCad... the last surface I had dealt with them well, but that was a work PC, this one is my own.

Immortal Redneck Xbox One review: Silly fun, but rough around the edges

Immortal Redneck is a unique blend of dungeon crawling and arcade-like, first-person shooting that, while fun to play, feels lacking in a few areas.
Set in the sand dunes of Egypt, in Immortal Redneck for Xbox One you play as a stereotypical redneck who aims to fight his way to the top of Egypt's ancient pyramids using a wide array of guns, skills, and abilities.
It's a nonsensical premise, and it's clear from the start that Immortal Redneck aims to offer a silly, casual experience. Though there are a few notable flaws, it's still a good time and should be on your radar if you're looking for some easygoing fun.

Surface Pro 4 very very laggy/slow after turning on from sleep mode while charging!!! HELP!!!! D:

Hi i have had this Surface Pro 4(i5 core/8GB of RAM/256GB of storage) for just over 1 year now.

And i keep getting problem that my Surface Pro 4 becomes very very laggy/slow after turning on from sleep mode while it is charging the battery like it takes a a very very long opening and closing programs/games, and browsing the web and navigating around the OS and lots more. :(

That only way to stop it is that i have to restart the entire device every single time in order to get rid of the problem which it is very very annoying and frustrating. D: D:

And the funny thing is that i stopped getting this stupid problem for a while before the latest Windows Update that annoyingly got the problem back.

This is ridiculous that this stupid problems keeps coming back!!!! D: D:

I don't really know what to do to get rid of this problem.

As for charging the battery?? I am using the official Microsoft charger that came with it in the box.

So can anyone help me please to get rid of this stupid problem again for once and for all?? And have you had this problem on your Surface Pro 4??If yes then how did you get rid off it??

Best GPUs for Crypto Mining

If you're looking for the right graphics card to get into mining for cryptocurrencies, you need one of these.
Cryptocurrency (and we're not talking Bitcoin here) mining is growing in popularity and is a big part of why graphics cards (GPUs) are so expensive right now. Building a mining rig is different than building a gaming PC, because you need to balance mining performance with how much it costs to get set up and to run.
Mining is an intensive process, and you'll be running the rig at high load for long periods, so things like power draw become crucial. The GTX 1080 Ti is one amazing GPU, but it's also fairly power hungry, so it's not necessarily the best choice for this purpose.
If you're getting into mining, you'll be better suited with one of these.

sdcards & rtfs

I've recently purchased a Samsung 256GB Evo Plus sdxc card to use in my Windows Surface 2017 (i5/4GB)

As with all scares it comes with exFAT but I plan on formatting for NTFS to give the best flexibility (it will always be in the device)

I am trying to decide what allocation unit size to use. I have read that some people recommend keeping the allocation size a multiple of (or at a push not too many submultiples of) the 'erase block size', but Samsung will not tell me what this is (they respond that it is proprietary information)

I am aware of the general thoughts around the size in terms of number of files, size etc - less so the sdcard specifics1

* Does anyone have recommendations for this specific card?
* Or general recommendations for sdcards
* A link to a tool that will display this info under windows (I couldn't find one. Linux in virtual box can't read the device info well enough, hyper-v doesn't get close). The info is in the csd register (I could try building some code, though I develop on java/unix so windows dev new to me)

Thanks

Although adding another display is usually a straightforward process, it doesn't always work flawlessly. Sometimes, Windows 10 may not be able to detect the second monitor, and you may end up seeing error messages despite a good connection between your PC and the external display.

Do 'computer glasses' really work?

Replace the battery?

I've done a bit of searching, and found a couple of battery options (none of my local battery stores will sell me a battery, even if they do have "all battery" in the name :orly: ). I did watch a guy (who may be a member here?) do a tear down on YouTube, but I'm not sure if I'm that capable. If I bought a battery, would one of the cell phone repair places do the replacement? Or is it really as easy as the guy on YouTube made it look?

The YT guy mentioned getting this one, which says it's for the 930 ONLY. (I'm pretty sure the Icon is a 929? Not sure if they use the same battery?)

And then I found two on Amazon, one of them has more MaH than the other one, and not sure which one would be better or if either of them would work.

And when i do that for messages, ill see the page with all of my messages and i can click the message and ill type message, but it refuses to send the message. ill write the message but the send button doesnt work. Itll highlight but thats it. I got it to work once by hitting it a certain way but i tried the spot again and it didnt work. Idk whats going on. It must be facebook on this phone because on my PC facebooks working fine. 2. Ran sfc /scannow - no issues
3. Exported and imported a known good scheduled task from another machine.

uninstalled apps still in launch

Well, I can't seem to uninstall Age of Empires (old version) but can install a newer version and ever since WeChat just stopped one day, I can't uninstall it.

AOE will not let me uninstall it . it says pending.

WeChat lets me select uninstall, but it never uninstalls.

I am hoping clearing these issues will improve minor things in my phone that seemed to die around the time WeChat quit.

Witcher 2, Crackdown, and more get Xbox One X upgrades

These Xbox 360 games should look crisp on an Xbox One X.
When the Xbox One X launched, Microsoft surprised consumers by announcing that certain Xbox 360 games would be enhanced for the console. Experiences like Fallout 3 and Halo 3 look absolutely stunning on a 4K display due to the increase in resolution. A nine fold increase in pixel count sharpens up the image considerably. However, many thought that the company wouldn't upgrade other Xbox 360 games because it was only used to market the console at launch.

Apple TV, Android TV, Fire TV, Roku, some generic box I bought from Amazon — they're all living in the shadow of the almost-perfect solution: Xbox One S.

Windows 10 'Timeline' is a truly useful feature, but its success will depend on what supports it

Timeline is a new feature coming in the next Windows 10 update that lets users resume activities across devices up to 30 days in the past, but its success will rely on what developers support it.
One of the biggest new features coming in Windows 10 Redstone 4 is a feature called Timeline. Announced last year, Timeline allows users to pick up where they left off within an app up to 30 days in the past, congregating all the work you do on your Windows 10 PC into one convenient timeline for you to look through. It works across devices too, meaning you can resume work you were doing on another device whenever it suits you.
