My brother uses an app called fresh paint. Today he tried to use it and it would just crash every time. I had done the anniversary update so I'm guessing that messed things up or the more likely it was the developer who forgot to update the app. For sure I checked for app updates but nothing was available. I tried a restart of the surface but that didn't work either.
I knew I can reset the app but the reset deleted all the data which was about 30 paintings that my brother was working on - needless to say there's a lot of friction between us now.
Was there any other way of resolving this issue? Crashing or non functional app in anniversary update? Roll back wasn't an option.
