I know this isn't the end of Skype, since there are loads of Skype developers all around the world, but why shut down the Stockholm office if they actually brought money to the table?

All the layoffs, all the half a**ed attempts at gaining market share and other strange things (such as retooling over and over again whilst maintaining the old Win32 API:s), does not give consumers and developers confidence in the company. Just look at university studies - everyone are basically taught Java and Objective-C/Swift. When they start working they'll care very less for Microsoft and their tools. Maybe the future of Windows is to be a gaming OS only? :straight:
