Windows Central app on Android has been broken - is it on purpose?

The last update broke a vital aspect of having an app for Windows Central.

Further investigation suggests a hack of some sort.

I get my RSS feeds and read them to decide whether I need more than the headline. Previously, if I opened the (feedproxy.google.com) link in chrome, that revealed the www.windowscentral.com/ web address, which would automatically open in the app. Brilliant.

Now it doesn't. FAIL.

Why? Because the app designers have CHANGED the "open in app" Web addresses so they no longer include www.windowscentral.com! Insane!
The list of addresses it will open includes utterly unrelated Web site addresses like wpc.com which is something called Winter Park Construction. I've never seen that address till investigating the problem today.
I can't edit that.

The forum is still correct.

Thankfully for the moment, the partner Android Central still allows the app to take the focus for their full address.

I try to upload screenshots but the forum cannot accept png - which is what all android screenshots are now. What a faff on converting them so they will upload to illustrate my point.

I've also reported in the app comments last week, and by email today LRM_EXPORT_20180331_090624.jpgScreenshot_20180331-083419.jpgScreenshot_20180331-083523.jpgScreenshot_20180331-083455.jpgScreenshot_20180331-083500.jpg
