How to stop Windows 10 update of Driver no longer required

Replaced An Older HP printer with new HP printer. Removed the old printer and drivers. Still receiving Windows 10 ( Home, Version 1709 ) updates for the old Printer. Is there anyway to prevent or delete these updates?
