After years of waiting, all gamerscore counts towards the leaderboards.
Gamerscore is a great way to show the community how dedicated you are to gaming. Gamerscore is unlocked through achievements and can vary from five points to even a hundred. While the overall count tells other players about how many games you've played, the monthly leaderboards are more of an immediate competition. Each month, players try to beat each other for the top spot amongst their friends.
