I have both Surface 3 Pro and Surface 4 Pro. Recently I noticed that charger connector gets very hot. On YouTube I found video of a person having exactly the same problem and it looks like solution is not that difficult: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lRmoRb-r2bA
However, the very first step is an issue. Have you ever managed to remove the cap from connector without destroying it? I have problems with this step and I done right, the rest looks rather easy.
