Bluetooth handsfree, mic is disabled

I have upgraded from a Lumia 625 to a Lumia 650. I have an Easy talk visor mounted handsfree kit that paired, connected and worked fine with the 625, but with the 650 it only pairs and connects without the microphone, which makes it useless!

Any ideas out there?
