Unable to delete mail in junk folder

I am using Live Mail 2012 with windows 10, junk mail automatically goes into the "Junk Folder" and I usually delete the mail daily however today it will not let me delete any of the mail, I have tried moving it but it will not let me do that either.

I have tried highlighting the mail then pressing delete button on keyboard also pressing the delete icon but nothing works.
