So I've come to a situation where I'd like to sell my old PC since I've recently upgraded to far better hardware and to full Windows 10 Home license instead of the OEM license that can't be transferred.
However I believe that the new user (if the shop that I'm selling this PC will sell PC as a whole) will need product key to activate Windows on it. It's right at the top of the PC itself, but it's linked to my MS account as far as I know. The problem is, that I don't know how to unlink it and that I am not sure if it is going to work at all since originally it was a Windows 8.1 activation key before I upgraded the system to Windows 10.
Does anyone have any experience with similar situations?
