Why no Media Server browsing for W10 Mobile ?

The recent update to Movies and TV app (10.17042.14211.0) brought Media Server browsing capability to PC and Tablet.
Why wouldn't such a simple feature work on mobile ?
VLC and Smart Player has Media server browsing capability on mobile.
