msft stops seling lumia phones..can i buy lumia 950 xl if any stock left ? or hp elite x3?

still am in confusion whether to buy a windows mobile or android... hp elite x3 is the only windows to buy now...can i buy ? or shud wait for the long rumoured surface phone?

Silverlight on Xbox One?

Hello guys. here's the deal: Im a subscriber to VOD service that is available through:

1) an android app 2) a website that runs Silverlight.

neither works for me - my tv does not support Android apps and my Xbox... well, it does not support Silverlight. hence, every time i want to watch tv, I am forced to connect my old laptop via hdmi to my tv and operate it this way - long story short: its not very convenient.

yes - I know i could buy an USB android stick - but, cmon, i didn't spend a few hundred euros on an multi-functional powerful super-dooper XB1 to buy another android piece of **** for another cash... tried to contact the service provider and find out whether they are planning to abandon Silverlight, but apparently its not happening any time soon.

This being said, heres my question: is there any other way? some browser? software? ANYTHING? thanks for your help!

screen rotation

i just bought lumia 830, edge broswer doesnt rotate when i watch videos on youtube or on anny other site? is it "bug" from windows or i can fix that, bcs rotation is unlocked, its upgraded to wp10.

What would YOU do with Windows 10 on ARM

We heard late last year that full Windows 10 is coming to mobile processors, opening the way for devices running full (x86) Windows applications. So now I'm curious:

What would YOU do differently with a phone that runs full Windows?


I'll start:

- I've always wanted OneDrive to keep files in sync on my phone (over wifi) as well, and I'm hoping W10A will allow that. That way I can have reference docs ready for use without needing cell coverage. I'm thinking travel documents, books, etc

- I'm very much looking forward to using extensions on Edge, which I assume will be enabled once W10A arrives. Finally fewer ads while on mobile data!

- Some users (not me obviously) might use uTorrent on their phone and make it their media hub.

- I personally would plug it in to a continuum dock regularly. It's much more natural than hauling my laptop to the monitor I've set up. I already to this with my 950XL, and whenever I do that I keep missing Win10 things, like hitting start and typing to find an app, and using full-blown windowed multitasking.


So how about you guys? How do you imagine this would change your (computing) life?

Surface Pro 4 Multi-monitor output

Shortly getting a SP4, I will have a docking station to allow two external monitors, my question is can I use the SP4 screen itself as notepad itself (i.e. as a third display with OneNote (or similar) where I can jot notes down?) if so how would I go about setting this up.
