I'm scratching my head trying to figure out how to convert an SSD's TBW endurance rating to something more useful. For instance, the SSD that I'm researching has a TBW rating of 360TB. Since I only write about 4 GB maximum on most days through file I/O:
Number of days in rating = 360 TB / (4/1000) TB/per day = 90,000 days or about 246 years.
This value seems seriously out of whack because no electronics equipment I know of lasts that long. Is there some figure that I'm missing?
