While browsing today I discovered a new Asus Transformer I didn't know about before, and it reminded me of the article on here a few days ago a out Surface Pro alternatives. The Transformer Pro 3 appears to have been discontinued for an updated model, it now has the 7th Gen Intel chips.
Newegg.com carries one of them. For $999.99 you get an I7 7500U, 8Gb RAM, 256Gb SSD, pen and keyboard included.
New model number is T304UA, while the Pro 3 was T303UA, this one actually has American availability.
