With the recent WinHEC, Microsoft Just Made it Windows Mixed Reality requirements a tad clearer a few months before their commercial availability.

If you have windows 10 S you'd have to upgrade to Windows 10 Pro. That's one question that's now answered.
I guess that ends any dream of future windows 10 mobile use with mixed reality HMDs?
What's still up in the air is will mixed reality HMDs work with ARM based windows 10 tablets and laptops when they're released in the fall.
