Surface 3 - what monitor type should show in Device Manager?

Display properties can't detect 2nd monitor via MDP-VGA adapter even though Device Manager recognizes it as a Dell P2210 after plugging it in and installing a driver for it

2 monitors are showing in Device Manager - Generic PnP and the Dell

Should the Surface 3 display show as Generic PnP?
