My Lumia 640 XL is trashed. I have been having problems with it since day one but recently it got much worse. For one thing, I have to admit I dropped it and it landed flat on it's back. It has a silicon bump cover but this was more than a bump. But even before that it wouldn't log into kindle / amazon reliably. Today I was working with amazon tech people and it kept resetting and restarting and I decided the problem was the phone.
Someone recommended I do a device recovery or something like that . hard resets don't fix the problem if anything they make it worse.
I am ready to go to at&t store this afternoon and buy an android phone but before I do I thought I might as well try to recover the device before I throw it in the trash.
