outlook email and T~mobile not in sync

Hello. I use outlook.com Microsoft account on my T~mobile Samsung galaxy 5 and it is setup to sync email. I have had it setup to sync as items arrive and it has worked great up until a week or so ago. Now it does not. I did change my password on msn. Could this be an issue? I also did try syncing it to every few hours. but that did not help. Emails arrive to my msn account but not showing up on my phone.what do i do now? do i need to change it on the phone? Thank you...
