sent a message to someone on WhatsApp and immediately report and block. will he read msg

Hi, my question is that I sent a message to someone on WhatsApp and it became double grey tick and immediately I "report and block"ed that person. My chat history with that person got wiped out. Will he be able to read my last sent message before reporting and blocking. ???? Please guide.
