Why can't I see and receive photos in viber?

Hello...im using a lumia 535. i noticed a few days ago that i have not been able to open / see and send photos in viber. i always get the 'loading' message but it never loads. i also get an error message "problem occured". ive tried restarting my phone and even uninstalling / reinstalling viber.

im starting to get frustrated. help please ...
