Would it help if I downloaded, heaven forbid, Linux to handle it? I was thinking maybe Ubuntu. I know that Android is based on Linux. Maybe that would make things easier with those items other than photos or videos. I mean copying from an Android phone, 6.0.1, to a used Dell Inspiron with Windows 8.1.
