Inverted (sort of) colours after boot and wake from sleep mode

Hey forums, since yesterday my Surface Pro 2017 is showing almst inverted colours after boot or wake from sleep mode (see pictures). When I turn the screen on and off again, the colours turn back to normal again, but n some menus the inverted colours still show up for a split-second before the turn to normal as well. The device lost its warranty two weeks ago and I'm seriously annoyed. Is this rather a hardware defect or some kind of driver issue? Have you had similar issues.
