I got my 930 @ February of 2015 and just last week the battery began dying early in the day. Worse yet, it doesn't seem to charge. I can leave it plugged in for hours and still get the message that it is critically low. The phone will boot up and then immediately or after a few seconds, shut down. Just before this began I noticed that it was heating up quite a lot, especially twice when I used the phone GPS on two long driving trips.
I stopped using the phone for a few days (picked up a cheap Cricket 650) and it seemed to get better for a day or so, but then today the battery almost died after just two hours or so.
I know that the 930 is not supposed to have a replaceable battery, but given that it is almost useless this way, is there any "unauthorized" way to replace the battery?
p.s. - I've been on the Fast Ring for some time and installed numerous updates of Win10 Mobile. Could this have been a source of the problem? Would reverting to a prior version help?
