LTE/LTE+ back and forth on HP Elite x3 & T-Mobile

So, I was the lucky winner of the HP Elite x3. I'm noticing it sometimes decides to switch back and forth continuously between LTE & LTE+ (so the plus sign keeps appearing/disappearing). Has anyone else been seeing that behavior? I'm on T-Mobile, so not sure if that may be a factor as well. Any input would be appreciated.
