I get calls on my phone - the caller Id is displayed as "Telemarketer." I have no contact defined as "Telemarketer." When I try to block that "number." the phone says the number is already blocked.
I have read elsewhere about "000-000-0000" being used to represent spoofed numbers - I thought this might be that number being shown as "Telemarketer." But when I tried to block it (whatever it really was?) it siad that it had already been blocked.
If it's a blocked number, how come my phone is ringing? And why is it called "Telemarketer?" And lastly, where is all that defined and described for the consumer?
Thanks.
