photos with onedrive

my uncle has over 1k photos and has asked me to back it up through onedrive i have the account on my pc and all his photos are there his phone is getting sent to be fixed and they have to reset the phone to factory settings if i have all the photos on one drive will the photos still be there when the phone is reset
