My mouse sensitivity is hard to control pls help ;-;

Whenever I change sensitivity on the mouse settings from the control panel just a tiny little bit it makes the mouse sensitivity go through the roof then when I put it back again it makes it very slow. is there any solution to this? my mouse DPI is 12000.
