I'm not totally sure if this is what happens but I often use my SP4 docked to two monitors. I've had a couple of times where my desktop goes haywire for lack of a better word. All my apps minimize and just the desktop is displayed. If I open the app back up it minimizes again after a few seconds.
Today I managed to recover it by undocking. Once undocked it thought it was in tablet mode. So I flipped the keyboard around and back, it settled down and I was able to re-dock.
What I suspect might be happening is it may think it's in Tablet mode while still docked. Normally you can't do that. Has anyone else experienced this?
