Hey gang,
Ask just about any Windows Phone fan what drew them to the platform, and they'll likely mention the clean, unique start screen complete with those gorgeous live tiles. This is especially true for the golden era of WP8 and 8.1, when Metro UI had hit its stride and everything felt integrated.
Today I stumbled across a screenshot of my old HTC 8S' start screen. It looks primitive by comparison to today's Android/iOS, but so much more beautiful. It's a reminder of what the platform could have become, and why we're still on this forum so many years later.

I created this thread so we can all share our old start screens and reminisce of times when it was (almost) cool to own a Windows Phone!
