Cracked Display - any info or tips on replacing?

I dropped my phone today, and there's a crack across the upper left corner of the screen now....it is a very sad day for me indeed! I've never cracked a display on any phone I've ever owned before. Is there any info out there about parts, costs, etc? Is it something I could do myself?
